CHINHOYI – Vice President Kembo Mohadi was taken ill shortly after proceedings began at the 23rd ZANU PF Annual National People’s Conference in Chinhoyi on Friday and was airlifted to Harare for medical attention.
In a post on X, Presidential spokesperson George Charamba said Mohadi was assisted off the top table by fellow Vice President Constantino Chiwenga before being airlifted to the Trauma Centre in Harare.
Charamba said Mohadi’s condition had stabilised following his arrival at the medical facility.
“His Excellency the President was kept informed all the time,” Charamba said, referring to President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
